Upcoming Shows: Our market dates for the Downtown Des Moines Farmers Market are:

The Downtown Des Moines Farmer’s Market is held from 7 am to noon in the historical Coourt Avenue District at 4th and Court on Saturday mornings during the spring and summer. Our booth will be in the same place as usual, near Java Joe’s on 4th Street, right in front of The Royal Mile. I hope you will stop down and see us if you are in the area!

Web site news and trivia: we are still tweaking our new site, so please forgive anything that looks a bit weird or funky.  (I had 2 pictures posted practically on top of each other on my News page for the last 3 weeks because I couldn’t  remember how to edit that page!)  I have received comments from many folks that they like the new site, some miss our  old site with the larger more detailed pictures, and a few have had shopping cart issues. I admit I am in the latter group of those who miss the old site, but change is not a bad thing… and by and large, I think the new site is more convenient for shoppers. I am working on better pictures, or more detailed or larger pictures so you can see the pieces better.  Many of our pieces are so beautiful and I don’t think our current pictures do these pieces justice.

Remember, if you have issues or problems with your shopping experience, please call or email. I can always take your order over the phone.

Welcome!

Welcome to our newly-designed web site! Thank you for visiting us! After 12 years on the internet, we are very excited to re-launch our site with a new look and have added a Paypal shopping cart which will be a convenient and secure way for our customers to place their orders.

We have some great new patterns, including Liana’s and Iwicka’s new geometric designs, with more great designs on the way. I requested some U4 designs in Maryla Iwicka’s new abstract tulips and I expect them to be gorgeous! Those of you who know me know that I dearly love many of the older classic patterns, so you will see these in stock from time to time too. Special orders are possible also, let me know your interest and we’ll see if we can get it in!

I don’t want to forget mentioning the beautiful new Ekelund towels and runners we have available for the Christmas season- I hope you will check these out also!

We will continue to offer Ceramika Artystyczna pottery and Ekelund at local craft shows and farmer’s markets here in the Des Moines area. Our local customers are welcome to shop on the web site and if you can pick up your order, there of course won’t be any shipping charges. Many times I have considered opening a small brick and mortar shop but I feel our web site is our shop and hope you will come on in and look around.

We appreciate those of you who have supported us over the years and welcome those who are visiting for the first time! We hope you will tell a friend or two about our web site and visit often. Whether you buy anything or just window shop, it is always fun to share our passion for this beautiful pottery!

New pottery has arrived, and more is on the way! We also have new Ekelund Swedish towels and runners, including some beautiful new Christmas designs. We hope you will enjoy the new look of our web site (with shopping cart) and bear with us as we continue to make even more improvements over time!

Our new shipments include some stunning new pieces, including new geometric designs by Liana and Iwicka- I hope you will check these out. We can ship for Christmas delivery up until Dec. 19th for the continental U.S.
